When we first stepped into Amir’s gym, I felt overwhelmed. I was not sure where that came from. Maybe I was unsure of being there or maybe I was just afraid of what I would find out about our little boy. I normally don’t get these sort of feeling so I just brushed it away. Then we met Fezia, whom we spoke to about our little boy Pavan. We got the feeling that she is the kind of person who will be straight with you no matter what and there’s just no nonsense business with her ( and we were spot on!! ). That was a delight as we came to realize that it’s easier to handle things when people tell you the truth rather than give you false hope especially when it came to Pavan.

We started therapy at amir’s gym a year ago and we couldn’t be happier. Pavan has progressed tremendously. They are not God or magicians who just with a snap of finger make problems go away. The team works really hard and they never give up and they don’t let the children give up. Pavan’s progress are mainly small but very very significant achievements that completely makes our day. To our delight, it makes the Amir’s gym staff’s/family’s day as well. Every achievement, every progress is celebrated. They make it a point to inform the parents and give the children there the encouragement to keep going. And that in turn encourages the parents to keep going. Let’s face it, it is not easy to have a differently abled child, but at Amir’s gym, they reduce the load for us.

The team are not only dedicated, but they are compassionate as well. They treat every child like their own brother, sister, niece, nephew. Family, period. When we’re at gym, I feel at home. So, the overwhelming feeling that I had on the first day at the gym, it was god, a higher power, or the universe telling me that we are at the right place. We’re HOME.”
