ABOUT AMIRS THERAPY GYM
A CENTRE OF HOPE
It all started as a quest to help my youngest son, Amir. He has cerebal palsy caused by a near-drowning accident when he was 18 months old. In my search for suitable therapy options for Amir, I realised I’ve been given the ability and privilege to help special needs children and adults. That was the inspiration behind Amirs Therapy Gym (AGT) named in honour of my son. Today, AGT has become a centre that touches the lives of many children with cerebral palsy, autism, and other disorders and syndromes and adults with physical challenges in their journey to build a better future.
Our Mission
We strive to provide affordable, client-centric solutions that will enhance the
rehabilitation journey for the best clinical outcome. Our therapists are
well-trained in their vocation as well as in the numerous assessment tools to apply
their skills towards sound clinical reasoning. ATG is in
collaboration with different organizations around the globe, providing expertise and
consultancy to us. The therapists on our team are carefully chosen for their professional knowledge, skills and experience. They treat each client with dedication, respect, creativity and love whilst maintaning the highest level of professionalism.
Industry Pioneer
AGT is a pioneer ability and physio centre in Malaysia. We were the very first facility to offer Suit therapy and the Intensive Model of Therapy (IMOT) in 2012. The team has since added more modalities to their skill sets. We are also the very first centre in Malaysia to offer Cuveas Medek Exercises (CME) and MAES framework therapy
Training Development
We have since grown our team. Our therapists have successfully completed many different
post-graduate courses, adding value to our treatment plans. We are also in partnership with several organisations for training programmes with the
view of providing cutting-edge post-graduate courses and workshops in the region.

- Kinesio Prehab Institute of India (KPI). All their courses are run through ATG
- Aquatic therapy University Seminars of the U.S.A (ATU). Director of the Malaysia Singapore Campus for the ATU
