Ashwini Jeyakumar is a dedicated paediatric physiotherapist whose passion for inclusive care and creative therapy shines through every session. She began her journey with a Diploma in Physiotherapy from Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare College, followed by a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from MAHSA University.
Ashwini brings rich experience from her tenure at the Kiwanis Down Syndrome National Centre, where she served for two years. During this time, she deepened her expertise through specialised short courses in Special Education Needs (SEN) teacher training, communication strategies, Makaton sign language, and feeding therapy for picky eaters.
Since joining Amirs Therapy Gym, Ashwini has expanded her skillset in aquatic rehabilitation. She is certified in the Halliwick Foundation Course by the International Halliwick Association and has completed the Intermediate Short Course from Aquatic Therapy University (USA), focusing on Aquatic Sensory Integration and therapy for children with cerebral palsy and medically fragile conditions.
Known for her excellent communication skills, sunny disposition, and imaginative therapy approaches, Ashwini creates engaging, child-centric environments that foster joy, participation, and progress. Her sessions are not only therapeutic but also exciting and empowering for children and families alike.
