Fung Mei aims to help special needs children achieve better mobility and function, thus improving their quality of life. Her career choice was inspired by the saying ‘If doctors save lives, then a physiotherapist makes it worth living’. She’s especially passionate about the paediatric field because she believes all children are entitled to every opportunity to reach their full potential in life. Nobody deserves to be looked down on or think they are inferior due to their physical differences.
As a child at heart, she finds it easy to befriend and connect with the children. This quality helps her to create a lot of fun yet ‘functional’ activities for her clients. It’s also therefore no surprise that she’s usually the one causing mischief among the children.
